THE PARK
Araby Acres RV Resort is a medium sized Park with about
300 spaces and 30 more for transient RV's. The big difference is that Araby Acres is almost entirely built out with
Park Models and the value for amenities comparison to total Park cost is unequalled by any other Park in Yuma County.
Two swimming pools, two hot tubs, two club houses, two billiard rooms, fully equipped exercise gym, card rooms, horseshoe
pits, shuffleboard, and two clubhouses help make up a full calendar of activities for any active sunseeker.
THE SEASON
Our typical season is from October to April with most residents
choosing a five month period to suit themselves. There are also a small number who like the equatorial heat and live here
year round. We are among the ones who live here year round and so are always available. Among the other numerous
events in the Park during the Season, the Park management hosts a Welcome and a Farewell party each Season.
THE PEOPLE
A recent survey showed that 48% of our residents are Canadians
from border areas of Western Canada. We are a 55 and over Park and we find that we have more in common than just our
age. One visit to Araby Acres and you will quickly realize how we have become a family of good friends reminiscent of times
long ago.
The Timing
This is mid-Season and we still have a few left. No reasonable
offer will be refused

John assumed ownership of Black Swan on September 15, 2009 and has found that many people want to step up from the small
spaces in trailers and 5th wheels to the full facility Park Model. Park Models are slightly more expensive than
trailers and 5th wheels, and but they are full of features you would expect from a normal home. A big plus, as personal
property, they are not subject to property tax but are taxed a negligable amount as personal property.
